Stay Healthy during cold and flu season

H1N1 flu activity is widespread in Minnesota and 20 other states so here are some health promotion tips:

  • Stay home if you or your children are ill. If you are responsible for one of the volunteer jobs on Sunday morning like RE teacher, usher, audio tech, coffee host, greeter, etc. please call the church and inform us.
  • Cover your cough with your arm, not your hand.
  • Wash your hands and wrists thoroughly with soap & running water for 20 seconds.
  • Use hand sanitizer if a sink is not nearby. Bottles of sanitizer have been placed on both sides of the sanctuary plus in the children's chapel and in the Commons Room.
  • Keep your hands away from your face.
  • Get a seasonal flu shot if it is indicated for you.

By following these simple tips, we can continue to enjoy each other on Sunday mornings and at other church events.
